MAGNAFLOW Performance Exhaust COMPETITION SERIES for the 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T 5.7L HEMI w/ MDS

2009 CHALLENGER R/T HEMI 5.7L V-8 COMPETITION SERIES
16891 Dual 2.5" Cat-back Exhaust, Magnapack, DUAL REAR EXIT, Quad tips

The design utilizes and external TRU-X pipe and central mounted mufflers. A lack of the rear resonator section keeps total weight at a minimum and improves balance and overall weight distribution.

The COMPETITION SERIES has been developed specifically to address the needs of the Performance and Race enthusiast who wants power with the minimalist approach in design. Lower mass, reduced restriction and maximum power and sound. As with all our systems, Dyno proven power is a must:

Expect 15 HP and 20 lb-ft peak to peak

Max gains are 24 HP @ 4950 and 25 lb-ft @ 4200 rpm.
Max gains while "true" are instantaneous measuresurments that vary in the next 50 rpm and are more marketing material that "real" numbers.

Please identify the cost for the competition series and availability. Also how does this function with the MDS?

FYI - Magnaflow is coming out with an stainless steel AXLE-back system with or without (part no. 16894) using factory tips which I think is similar to Blastin Bobs (to my understanding not stainless steel) resonator eliminators. No price or pictures yet but that is what I found on the magnaflow website. In my opinion there is nothing wrong with the factory stainless exhaust on the 6-speed cars other than the redundant (oops did I spell that right?) rear mufflers. Commonly refered to as resonators. I will go with SS.
