Don Garlits Mopar Car Show Ocala Fl

Are there any Mopars and owners from the forum going to attend the show this weekend Sat&Sun?? I will be there in my all Mopar powered Anglia in some class. Look me up.

Any body from here in fl. plan on attending the 2009 Don Garlits 2009 Mopar Car Show this yr. I will be there driving something.

Did you go last year? A bunch of members from the Charger side went to that show last year and said there's no chance of winning unless you take a car straight off the lot to the show.

Yes I did. But I went for the Fun and took my Anglia. Did not have the Challenger yet. Met a few people from my home in Ia and some from Minn,that raced at some of the same drag strips I raced at. Didn't plan on winning anything just had 2 good days of fun.

When and where is the Don Garlits Show?

I did enter the show. They have a lot of classes. I was in the modified Class. Street rods , drag cars. My Anglia is all Mopar except for the English body. There was a250k Dart in my class. Big swap meet for older cars. About 3football fields worth. I went for sat and sun and just drove each day 45min drive. first day comming home alligator tried to run in front of me doing 65. got right out on the edge and turned around . I was almost a clothes changer if u know what I mean. lol

I'm going to enter my 2009 B5 Challenger Classic just for the fun of it. Hope to see some Z members there.
