Hi,
Just heard from a dealer that Dodge is now offering Employee Discounts on the R/T and SE challengers. Had to happen at some point. Not sure what the $ amount is...

Just got off the phone with my dealer, he has two srt-8s on the lot for less than I paid for my r/t!!! I asked jokingly if i could just trade straight across for one of them, and he just laughed at me

I guess it was only a matter of time. I might just check out the local dealership and see what they are offering.

This is confirmed. Dodge.com build your own challenger is now displaying EPP discount on every challenger, including the SRT8. It is about 9.6% off msrp.
In case you did not know!

dodge.COM build your own gives you the price msrp - discounts just build it the way you want and it will subtract all qualifying incentives the one i built took 4300 of msrp of 34310

Just came from my dealer a short while ago and was told the employee pricing was extended on all but the SRT. (how long he didn't know) but said if you wait a month or two some even sweeter deals will be offered due to the situation with Chrysler, so stay tuned !

Boy do I hope that's true! Even though I placed my order a few days ago, my dealer informed me that if a better incentive came along in the meantime before I take delivery of the vehicle, I'll qualify for those as well.

I am pretty stupid too. I posted 2008 when I meant 2009. I fixed it now.

This is very interesting to me because when I log on to the employee web site there is a fairly long list of vehicles that are excluded from employee discounts. ALL Challengers are on the "excluded" list...
It would make for a nice surprise when I go in for my car!
Update: I just checked again and, as of 4/21/09 there are two specific Challenger models that are not on the "excluded" list. The R/T J and the SE G should both be eligible if Chrysler's list is up to date and accurate. I still don't see the discount when I order one out on the Dodge site, though...

I was thinking about ordering my Challenger,
If I do, is it easy? once you place an order, how long will it take to deliver? Thanks
