Well my 2009 srt spring special that I ordered way back in Feb is finally past KZ status and is on a rail car to Florida. I purchased this car that is for sale last month in case something happened to the one I ordered. I was then planing on keeping both.
The cars MSRP is 45630.00 and that is my price. I paid MSRP for the car plus my shipping and Florida taxes. 45630.00 buys it. The car is in new condition with only 40 miles. I have the car listed on ebay if anyone needs to see pictures. It has Nav, roof, and is pretty loaded. 561 309 3328 askfor Jason
The car is paid in full with no loan or liens and I have a Florida title in hand that is in my name for a smooth transaction. I hope my other SRT makes it safe to Florida.

Noproblem I love the site and love this car too, but I have the other one coming very soon and may order a purple one as well. These are very hard to find new period as we all know. And this has no dealer mark ups.

No lottery! I moved a bunch of older cars in my collection since Last Oct because I saw the market going to get soft and held onto the cars that I would ot even think of selling. I just wanted a B5 SRT and did not know what was going to happen with Chrysler or if my car would ever arive after watching all the people waiting forever for their cars and some are still waiting so I bought this one just in case.
Note I still do not have my other one yet either! LOL. I have a 2010 shelby GT 500 that i have been using which is an awsome car just very diff front the challenger. I love them both!
My SRT is on ebay and it should sell. The dealer told me that the SRT "spring special pkg" is back and it will be release during the spring again. So one would have to wait till then again to get a 2010. They are rolloing out B5 cars now to finish up the 2009 year. The plants are shut down for 2010 change over and they will make a run of 2010 model B5 cars which are for people and dealers who had 2009 ordered or allocatated. These cars had to be rolled into 2010 because they did not make the 2 week plant run which I feel was stupid and the workers prob would have wanted to work rather then get a vacation LOL.

I believe my dealer said that next year's spring special will be plum crazy, they also said the last B5 will be made October 14, 2009. The spring special is an extremely rare car with only 253 manufactured in 2009. Good luck with the sale!

I think it was 244 total cars with 162 manuals and 82 automatics. Not that I'm counting!

Either way they dont need to make anymore b5 ones and stick to their story.I saw the b5 2010 on ebay. That is proof they are still making them...

I am a brand new membert and this is my first pos so I am obviously a Newb to the Challenger site.
What is the "Spring Special" that was referenced above? Why is that Chrysler is adding and dropping colors like B5 etc? Can't believe they can't allow for any color they are offering without dropping one or more. I like the deep water, plum crazy and think the new furious fuschia is cool too. Do I understand it that all of the plum crazy cars have already been built?
What is this "keep them limited to the numbers they released"? They should sell as many as they possibly can, regardless of model, year, or color. Build 'em and sell them!
