Just curious. I have 4 new run flats tires from my SRT-8 Jeep. I know the fronts will fit. They are 255/45/20. Will the rear tires fit without and clearance issues? They are 285/40/20. Thats for your help.

Are you talking about an R/T or an SRT.I just put 245/45/20's frt and 275/40/20's on my R/T they are mounted on repro SRT wheels with enough backset that they fit either SE,R/T,or SRT without any shim/spacer plates.I do only have a 1/4 in clearence on the sidewlls of the fronts but the backs have plenty of room.

I'm running 255/45/20 on front and 285/40/20 on the rear, no issues. But my rear rims are 10" wide, not sure if putting 285 on the stock 8" rim would be a very good idea.

I'm talking about an R/T Classic w/20"s. I would probably get some new rims with 10" width on the back. New tires cost about $1600 and would like to use then if possible without any issues. The fronts are 255 compared to factory 245's. That shouldn't make that much difference would it?

No, those are the sizes I'm running. If you get the right rims (mine are 9" wide in front and 10" wide in back) it should be fine. I couldn't tell you anything about what offset is needed, etc. I bought my rim set up specifically for the Challenger, so I didn't deal with offset and such, the selling company had the proper set-up based on the car model. Ask wherever you buy your rims, they should be knowledgeable enough to know if their rims work on the Challenger or not. If they don't know, I suggest finding another place that does!

I only have about 1/4 inch clearence with mine on the front to the spindle arm so it will be close. And be careful with the sidewall height also dont want to have to file down the upper arm bolt just to get wheels to fit.:wavey:
