A Meet & Greet FIRST

Had a Meet & Greet today with a twist - and gotta be a first. This one was without our Challengers.

Firedog and I met up here in Baghdad this morning and had a nice talk & bs session on our cars. Talked about up coming mods by both of us. Nice guy and nice to have met him. Got a Baghdad Fire Brigade T-shirt. Looking forward to getting together again after I get back over here from my break - which is coming up in two weeks.

Wow that's a first for sure..... How much time did you have to spend together?

Only had about 15 or 20 minutes this time. I'm going back to the US in two weeks for a break and then back here the end of June and we plan on having a couple more meetings. We're only about 10 minutes from each other - just different compounds. But it was enjoyable.

Great story. A little bit of home away from home. Dick, I assume you are US military, why don't you have a armed forces badge by your name?

Former military - now I'm a contractor. My business partner and I rotate over here on a constant basis. If I was active military I would have the badge.
