New Guy Checking In

Hey guys - I'm a newbie from Canada. Just came across the forum. I had a 1971 Challenger 440 6 Pack 4 speed car - B5 Blue - but stupidly sold it about 10 years ago - DOH!!

I've been following the new Challenger's progress and hope to get one in '09 or '10. I've heard that the 2010 model may have even more power - maybe a version of the 392 in the area of 500 HP. That's the one I'd want for sure, so I'll be keeping an eye on developments.

Current cars in my stable are a '68 Mustang FB restomod that I'm just finishing up, and a '66 Plymouth Satellite 426 Hemi 4 speed car that is my next project. Should keep me busy and broke for a while.

Our auto show is coming up next month, so I'm looking forward to seeing the Challenger there. The car looks awesome in black don't you think - although it would be brutal to keep clean. Oh well - wouldn't be driving it in the winter anyway I guess.

I live in Burlington Ontario. I travel to Calgary often for business. I will be there in a couple of weeks.
I have a Black SRT8 Charger and I love the Challenger in Black. That is the colour I will buy!:smileup:

Thanks for the replies guys!! Incidentally, there's still nothing on Dodge Canada's website about the new Challenger, which sure seems strange since they build the things here!! They don't even list it as "coming soon" or anything like that. You'd think they could just copy the excellent stuff on the US website.
