i'd like to hear some feedback about the kenne bell on the hemi. some people say that twinscrew sc's are not the best for a high compression engine like the 6.1.
kenne bell makes some great products for other cars and mr norm is putting them on his version of the chally, so i'm just curious. everyone has their opinion, so i'd like to hear both sides before i spend $6-7k on a sc setup.

I talked to a speedshop last October and one of the guys said the KB was out for the Challenger and that his shop had installed one. He of course did have any supporting information on their supposed install, leading me to believe KB didn't offer a S/C for the Challenger. It's nice to know their is another S/C choice out there for us.

For what they want for a supercharger, you could have HHP do a stage II kit and run 11.7's with a naturally aspirated motor. If you want supercharger advice so you don't scatter your engine, Josh at HHP installs and sells them too. He might have an one of his preferred install shop's close to you. In my personal opinion, Josh has my full trust on how and what to install on Hemi's. My Dodge dealer also teamed up with him as one of his install shops. Everything Josh ever told me was exactly the way the car turned out. He also would steer me away from wasting money on something that I would not need, or would not work out for me. Check out the motor he built for the Diablo Challenger at SEMA, it is on his website. He is a forum vendor.

I believe Hurst is putting a vortech supercharger on their challengers. JAy Leno has the Hurst challenger 001. There is a 10 minute video, at 50-60 mph his tires start chirping, he also does a nice burnout.

HHP told me they carry superchargers, I did not check on the brands. Josh asked me if I was going to put one on the stroker that I will be ordering soon, but I told him I did not want one right now. Josh put alot of superchargers on the cars on his website. The 1000 HP SRT 8 Jeep has one and the engine he built for the Diable Challenger that was at Sema had one.
