You will have what at 7 years... Maybe 11K miles... Hahahahaha...
Welcome, I hope you get it. These are beautiful cars. Fingers crossed. Dave
Right. The one thing I can say about paint color is this, it's not easily changed. We've had 3 Challenger's and each time I said I wanted Torred. And each time I compromised on the color for either price, options or some other reason. Upgrades can always be added later, nav, wheels, Katskin leather interior, etc. If destroyer gray is the color you really want, IMO, get that color.... I still want one in torred. Guess we'll try on the next one, lol.
Konatown, what part of Florida are you from?
I don't like the deal. Dealer sounds dishonest. I'd keep shopping around. Dealer lots need to clear off 16's, they lose money the longer they sit. FL charges 6% sales tax on new cars sold. Buy the warranty through Chrysler/Dodge/FCA directly if want something more than what is provided already.
I'd be walking away from that dealer. They seem to be a bit shady and thats putting it nicely. I think you should go get the Destroyer Gray 2017 that you realy want. A dealer lies to me I walk, I've done it 3 times lately looking for a car for my wife.
SW. If I get the vehicle I'll be on here regularly and we can plan a Florida meet!
They are. I've also rarely been able to purchase vehicles without sifting through some bit of dishonesty. Do you really think I could find a way to get any more money off that car? The manager was pretty adamant about not budging, and like I mentioned I haven't gotten a call and it's day three.
So destroyer gray would be amazing, but I've also never owned a white car and I really want one. I don't want to have to add the features that I want down the road other than tint. I also don't want to go through the entire dealer process again lol
Sounds a lot like me when I buy a car, other than it's usually easy to find black, so I get that. On this one, it is the color that I have been wanting
I'm in SW Florida too, Cape Coral. I've been working on getting the SW FL members together locally for meets and events. There's a group headed to Muscle Car City in Punta Gorda this weekend for a car show. I've got a thread started in the Florida chapters section of the forum.
Come out and join us, get to know some of the local members. Admission is free for spectators and only $10 a car for the show.
So, challenger got me like what.
I'm sorry, I'm in SE not SW. Boca Raton to be exact. I just moved from the west coast, Clearwater area, so I am still getting used to being on the east coast. I'd still be interested in a meet, and anything over here be sure to let me know, because...... (see post below)
Congrats on your new Challenger.
Sweet, congrats. Post some pics up when you can.
A day trip across to the other coast is definitely a possibility. Speedlogix does a car's and coffee. There's also a monthly meet at autogeek and the Mopar nationals are coming up soon.
Congrats on the new ride, enjoy the beast.
Thank you everyone.
Today for work was a 300 mile day. So basically an awesome first day in the new ride. I never thought I'd get so many looks from others.. literally felt like I'm driving a Ferrari. I got some good pics today, I'll post up when I get a chance!
New baby. RT Plus !!
Very nice, I really like the Bright White.
Thank you friends! I'm researching proper break in techniques and how to do that along with possibly my own oil changes and other maintenance to focus on with this vehicle. Anywhere in particular I should be looking? After immediately putting 300 miles on it I want to make sure I'm doing things right!
Do your first oil change soon, use full synthetic.
