Want to get a used car with some power. Not huge into cars and don't know much.

Looking at the challengers. 2014 ish. I'd like to keep it under 20,000 but I'm not sure this is possible.

I'm looking at specs and see a HUGE jump in horsepower and price when I look at the SRT8.

300+ HP still seems ok with the other models but am thinking in my price range a Camaro SS may be more in my budget.

Was looking for opinions/suggestions. Any way to keep the budget low and power high with these cars?

You'll be hard pressed to find a used SRT in that price range.....even a used R/T (375HP) will be older....around 2011/2012 with high miles. If you want 2014 or newer it will be a used SXT.

Yeah, these cars hold their value very well. You will need to go older than that to find in the $20k range.

As far as whether a Camaro would be a better option for you. You really should test drive both. The Challenger is roomier inside. Test drive and see which car speaks to you.
