The first week with my new, factory ordered 2016 Dodge Challenger will be forever etched in my mind. I took a weeks vacation and spent the time learning and experiencing every nook and cranny of my new ride. I made trips each day out into the country and also later in the afternoons each day I drove it in town as everyone got off work and hit the roads. At that time there were'nt a lot of Challengers around and people would REALLY notice the car in traffic. Loved it!

The first thing I did the next day, after my wife and I took delivery, was to install a set of Mopar molded splash guards and some custom laser fit Husky floorliners in the car. The next item on the agenda was to get the Challengers windows tinted up at Abe's Custom Car Care & Repair in Mokena, IL, which is about a 30 minute drive North of me. They used 3M Automotive Window Film Color Stable Series film in a 35% tint level which was a good compromise between sun protection and visibility at night for this old guy when driving.

At the end of the week I hit 500 miles of break-in driving and then I changed out the oil with a fresh factory fill of Pennzoil Full Synthetic along with a new Mopar cartridge filter. This was one of the most exciting weeks that I'd seen in quite some time, but little did I know that this would just be the beginning...

Now that's a white Challenger to admire.

We got a white 2019 Challenger last May, but it came with the Blacktop package which Mrs. noelekal loves, but I don't care for. I like the bright accents much better. We both were bowled over by the white with no stripes feeling it looked understated and elegent while also actually appearing more bad-to-the- bone than stripped versions.

I'll have to stick up a photo later for comparison's sake. Yours'll look better though.

I just bought a white 2019 scat pack. I see yours looks awesome. It is truly a beautiful car. I grew up with the old school challengers of the 60's and 70's and after been a BMW guy, I now realize I wished I had bought one these a lot earlier, although its never too late I guess.

I forgot to stick up the photo of ours earlier.

We're plain, but proud.

Thanks for your nice comments! I agee, white without stripes is beautiful and yours has that "look" that turns heads simply because it's so clean and sharp. Thanks for posting a photo!

Thank you for the nice comments! I've never seen a Challenger that I didn't like...they're all cool cars in my book!

Thanks for commenting! I remember all those old muscle cars too and saw them for sale cheap in the 1980's and didn't have a thought about buying one to restore. I wish I had now. These new muscle cars are even better in some ways, so I think we should enjoy them while we can because you never know when they'll go away.
