Was wondering before I start my mods this spring, Do I have to worry about disconnecting the battery with this Radio? I know some GM cars you have to shut off the anti theft feature before removing the power source or else the radio will be dead ... how about these radios? Do I have to get a code for the radio?

Once your radio is installed in the car you don't need the code...but if you take it out and put it in another car....then yes you need that code. I'm going through this right now....got a rbz mygig that my buddy gave me out of his totalled car....can't use it until I get the code which he doent have and I'm pretty sure the dealership will charge me $50 dollars for it.
