I just installed the 180 tstat i lost the felpro gasket and cant find it . will it leak . there was no gasket with the old tstat. JET 10183

Isn't there a black rubber gasket around the new one? :4-dontknow: There should be.

I believe mine has a rubber gasket / o-ring on it. Don't recall having to install a separate gasket. I installed mine years ago, no leaks yet, so you should be fine.

The thermostat itself has a rubber gasket around it. The housing also has an o-ring on it.
