The original Quadrajet was rebuilt at The Carb Shop in Ontario, the points have been replaced with a Pertronix Ignitor Kit, new distributor cap, stainless steel shielded wire braid spark plug wires, new spark plugs, new vacuum lines, added a new aluminum radiator to update the cooling system, added an electrical system anti theft kill key, and an OPTIMA REDTOP battery. Transmission a GM TH700R4 transmission. The transmission is upgraded by Hubbes Performance Automatic transmissions with special built TH700R4 4 speed automatic transmission to handle this Corvette 454 engine. Exhaust Ceramic coated original cast iron exhaust manifolds. Complete new MagnaFlow stainless steel 21⁄2" exhaust system with cut out plates. New exhaust gaskets, exhaust donut gaskets, and exhaust manifold studs. Interior New carpet, door panels, pillar panels, ventilation balls, and weatherstripping kit. The remainder of the interior is original and in excellent condition. Paint The car was originally painted a single stage Medium Red when I bought the car. It was a poor paint job so the body was completely block sanded and a 2stage urethane was applied. The basecoat is Torch Red (about as close as you can get to the Medium Red color in a modern paint) and the clearcoat is a Matrix high solids to prevent fading. The Corvette body emblems and door handles were also replaced where needed. Corvette Specialty of California did the paint and body work in Corona CA. Misc. The factory radio was replaced by a Classic Car AM/FM cassette stereo setup. The speedometer cables gears replaced to match the TH700R4 transmission.
