[VAPA]

I am new to the Challenger world, bought a 2009 SRT last summer and am now considering some mods, the first being a new exhaust system. I read pages of posts on here and am surprised at all the choices available. I looked under the car today and see three "devices" in each pipe, just off the exhaust manifold is a round cylinder, then further back between the rear seat foot wells is another, the right before the tips is another. Please advise the proper name of each of these 3 devices.

This should get you close but I don't think the SRT's had that suitcase muffler in the middle. Not stated here is #6 which are the catalytic converters.

Corsa and Solo are very popular. I went with MBRP. Zoomers sounds awesome too. It's a personal preference and it wallet dependent as well. I always tell people to go to some meets, shows or cruise ins and when you find a sound you like, ask which one it is and go from there.

Back in the day the center suitcase mufflers were actually called suitcase mufflers because of the way they looked. These mufflers are almost identical to magnaflow mufflers; so says my muffler guy. To save some bucks, you probably want to pull the Resonators and not the mufflers. Magnaflows are famous for not having a humm that drives you crazy going down the road. Unsure if these mufflers do the same as I havent pulled them on my SRT. I am soo tempted but it is a 2008 and want to leave it stock.

Why did you replace the cats?
In doing so did that require new emission software?

Replaced the cats to help the exhaust be less restricted. Has never thrown any codes and just unscrewed the original O2 sponsors and put them in the new exhaust. No problems. Love the j tubes in the back so you can adjust them and get rid of any drone if you have that issue.

yes I do. Not sure about where else you can buy it. I did buy it directly from them. They were very easy to deal with and had great customer service.

I wish it had a little more rumble but it is the cheapest way to make more noise lol An added benefit is weight savings. Those resonators are pretty heavy.

I have an 08 SRT8, auto and am thinking of getting the Blastin Bob's Resonator Delete Kit. So I'm wondering how loud it is inside the car and how much drone? Any help would be appreciated.
