Looking forward to using this forum as my go-to site for information for my purchase today; 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8, 6.1L Hemi, 6-speed manual, Silver with only 18,000 miles - I'm the 3rd owner. Previous owner had for 6 months and drove it only 2700 miles... Purchased new in Colorado, and will be babied and detailed frequently under the high UV rays in the Mile High state.
The only modifications made (receipt to prove) were to remove the black rally stripes on the hood. Challenger is silver, no rally stripes, Challenger, SRT8 and 6.1 Hemi badging.
I got the car $1,200 below clean retail (according to NADA), dealer was a Mercedes dealership and wanted the "unit sale" prior to November month close...pays off to be patient.
I test-drove Mustang (Cobra), Corvette (GS), Camaro (SS) and Porsche 911 Carrera 4S. I've always been a 911 fan, but LOVE this SRT8!!! Tell me I made the right decision...?

Of course the Challenger seems great after you drive all that junk. When you get that thing out on an open stretch of road is when you will appreciate it, 70 mph will seem like your holding it back.

are you kidding??? You will love this car if you were looking for a car with room to relax on a trip... a car where everybody will ask... " does that have a HEMI??" , While people will tell you that you have the "slow car of the three pony cars" don't fall for that ....

Welcome.

If you are not sure when the fob batteries were replaced, change them now and save yourself some grief of flaky remote/keyless go operation!
