A little late, but nevertheless without further ado, the Challenger ForumZ is pleased to announce our MOTM winner for November 2011 JHSmith It’s a great honor to be voted as the Member Of The Month for November. First I would like to say that all of the candidates equally deserve to be the MOTM. Each and every one of them has been a great contributor to this forum. I think it’s safe to say that we all have a great passion for our cars. Whether it’s an SE or a 392, we all have agreed that this car is really special. It’s special in many ways, from the respect we get from other Challenger owners, to the average car owner traveling with us down the highway. I have to say that this forum is kinda like having a Challenger family. I know I’ve discussed many things while on this forum. From my first mod, to the loss of my family pet, everyone was there for me. I was warmly welcomed when I joined Challengerforumz, then I was again welcomed and ridiculed when I joined the “Last One To Post Wins” thread. Funny thing is, I continue to post to that thread and I continue to be ridiculed and bashed almost every day. So what’s that tell you about my sanity The other thing that I’ve never experienced on any forum other than the Challengerforumz, is the ability and willingness to help each other. This “know it all”, has learned so much from the members here. I can’t tell you how important that is to me. Speaking about me, I guess I can talk about me a little bit. I’m 50 years old. I’ve been a husband for almost 28 years and a dad to Joshua (almost 26 yo), Matthew (almost 22 yo), Sarah (20 yo), and Daniel (16½ yo). I have been employed with the same company for 28 years. I think I’ve been involved in just about all the hobbies known to mankind. I’ve collected space flown NASA mission patches, I’ve got a nice meteorite collection. I’ve used my Minelab metal detector to find coins, rings and even gold jewelry. One of my more serious hobbies used to be competitive shooting, both long arms and side arms. Camp Perry was where I spent a few vacation days, but sad to say, my diabetes took that hobby away. I still have 25/20 vision, but I can’t focus properly for the 600 meter/yards range. I have raised and bred some form of reptile for the last 20 years. At this time I have 11 Ball Pythons. But what the wife and I have been doing for the past few years is Whale Watching in Gloucester Mass. I’ve written 2 picture books of our adventures, but so far no one has picked up the books. So I guess that would have include another hobby, photography. Then of course working on cars has ALWAYS been a passion. There have been days where I’ve gone to the local auto bone yard after work to unwind. So I guess I am officially a motorhead.
