Thank you, all! When I joined the z the day after I bought my Challenger in July 2009, my main objective was to see what other owners thought about the extended warranty. I honestly had no thoughts that my z obsession would become what it is! That is a true testament to all of you awesome people that make this site so friendly and helpful. I haven't visited the other Challenger forums more than a handful of times since I joined because they just don't seem to have the same comraderie that this one does - especially as a V6 owner.
My path to the Challenger started way back. I was raised in a car family, although a GM one. My dad started showing his restored '57 Chevy when I was two, so I spent every Sunday in the summers at a car show. I was taught to appreciate old cars, and it probably didn't hurt that the best things on TV at the time were all centered around cars - "The Dukes of Hazzard," "Smokey and the Bandit," and "Knight Rider."
My first car was a Chrysler, much to my family's dismay. My dad now even works at a Chevy dealership, but when it came time to look at new cars again, there really was no competition. The Challenger was the perfect mix of new and old. It has that look that really is unlike anything else out there today.
I've had so much fun with this car - going to cruises and car club events. The other Challenger owners are awesome, and it has been great to meet so many other z members in person. Thank you all for everything you contribute to this site. It really is an honor to be member of the month considering all of the members are great - that is what makes this the place to be!
