Well everyone, we're ready to roll. Our 6th annual Toy's for Tots meet and greet is soon to be upon us.
We get started at 9:00am on December 8th.

This year, we will meet at the Prince Fredrick Rescue Squad. Not to be confused with the Prince Fredrick VFD. Although they are nearly across from one another.

The rescue squad is on the southbound side of route 4, about 400 yards south of the fire department (located on the northbound side of route 4). Here is their address:

Prince Frederick VRS
755 Solomons Island Road South.
P.O. Box 346
Prince Frederick, MD 20678

We ask that you bring a new unwrapped toy or toys to leave at the rescue squad .

We also ask that you bring as many toys and as many non-perishable food donations as you can swing for the main event at Park Dodge.

As always, we will have an escort from the rescue squad courtesy of the Prince Frederick Volunteer Rescue Squad and the Prince Frederick VFD.

So, get em shined up and get ready for a great time! More info to follow!

I've thought about it and attended the one back in 2010. My conflict is we have a VA meet the next day out by Winchester and I cannot commit to a whole weekend of car stuff. :(

If the weather's decent - I'll be there. Made the one two years ago and it was fun.

I'm in. I traded my Challenger on a new RAM but it's about the cause.
No mods, maybe I'll add a wreath to the front?
Your right, it's about the kids.

But, you do have a Ram, and that's a Mopar!. I've posted the event on Cummins forum (I have a Cummins Ram) hoping to see some trucks.

Anyway, here is a map for the morning meet.

Thanks to all who participated this year. We raised nearly $700 from the raffle alone for the 'shop with a cop' program. That takes us to nearly $1200 for the year.

We also collected over two FULL full-size pick-up loads of toys. And to top it off, we were very lucky to receive over $2500 in monetary donations going directly to the Toys for Tots organization made possible by one of our long standing
members here at Southern Maryland Mopars, Rod (Scruffeone).

Thanks again everyone!

Thank you, sublime154 and all the members of the Southern Maryland Mopars, for hosting this event. It certainly was a worthwhile day of activities. The quality of cars there was Great as where the quality of the people attending. It mad the 320 mile round trip(not to mention the long day) very worthwhile and enjoyable. Oh, the best part, the 20 mile FD/PD high speed escort!!!

I hear that! Something that gave me the fun lil idea of being in the Bullrun rally. One day....:4-looney:. BUT!! It was a fun day overall, even washing your car in the morning to have it end up looking worse 1hr later & miss the convoy and hoping to catch up by taking a short cut and end up 15mins ahead of the group still thinking they're ahead trying to catch up:doh: Also, Congrats to the Dan "The Godfather" for taking home "Best Hemi" and even the man of the hour stopped by and admired Dan's awesome ride:D

It was a superb meeting. And great pleasure to meet forum members in person. Bad8nti, climberccm, Moparbandit, onefinn: thanks for making it such a fantastic experience. I am so happy that we could contribute and help. Not to mention that being a part of the convoy, and having the FD and PD escort was PRICELESS!

Congratulations, bad8nti! You definitely deserve the prize. Your car and the engine bay are simply stunning. For all of you who haven't got the pleasure to see this masterpiece, here is the picture (it looks even better in reality):

We also did few pictures:

Hope you will enjoy them.
Again, thanks for the fun time! Can't wait to see you again.
