Hello, I have a 2013 Dodge Challenger R/T 5.7L 6 speed manual transmission. I am looking to get a better looking air bag emblem for the steering wheel as I think it looks terrible and would much rather have the newer style Dodge logo with the two red stripes or even just something without the chrome Dodge cross logo in middle it just doesn't look like it belongs in the car. What can I do to get rid of this I don't want to pay a ton just to change a bad looking logo. willing to spend a couple 100 dollars max.

Hello and welcome to the brotherhood of muscle, go Bucks. You can google steering wheel badges. I number of companies sell upgrades. Also youtube has videos on how to do this mod.

I looked up the video for the steering wheel badge removal/installation but it's for the older steering wheel style and that unfortunately isn't the same process as mine would be I don't want to take it apart unless I'm sure how to do it. I'm a mechanic so I'm not scared to take it apart but it's also the nicest and most expensive vehicle I've ever owned so I don't want to break it.

Well using that video as a guideline I was actually able to get the steering wheel logo off the difference as you can see in the pictures it has a retainer holding the back side of the logo and there is no horn circuit in the way anyway hope that this actually helps others who are wanting to get rid of the factory Dodge steering wheel badge in their cars. Contact Nate at rebadgedesign.com

I'm sure Nate has some badge designs that fit over the existing shield, eliminating the need to take apart your steering wheel.

EDIT: Oops! Didn't see your latest post. Good job!
