Hello,
I have a 2014 dodge challenger that I recently purchased brand new, it now has around 6k miles, I have only installed a airaid cold air , and my wife told me that I will be getting a Diablo i1000 dcx tuner and I read somewhere on here that someone writes programs for that unit, Any suggestions on which way to go or what setting to go with that's preloaded on the unit that would give the best overall performace.

Thanks,

While there are a few folks that offer custom tunes I decided to go with Johan at DiabloSport. I could feel a distinct difference between the canned 91 octane tune and Johan's tweeks. I have yet to data log and send him that so he could tweek it further. He is very quick at responding and very easy to deal with. Link below it contact info......

I went with Hemifever tuning, the guy works with you hand and foot very nice and I love the tune. Not trying to advertise over Scooter(sorry), there are lots of guys who doing tuning both guys would probably greatly improve your challenger over the canned tune.

I just purchased a new tune from HemiFever. There evidently are more torque management deletes available.

Let me just say this......since loading the 93 custom tune from Hemifever (was running a 91 custom tune from Johan) with the traction control deactivated I can randomly spin the tires from a stand-still (I am running 275/40's all around). It also pulls better from just about any throttle position. Granted, I also installed a ported Fastman TB at the same time. I can also tell a difference in the exhaust note.

I'd go with either Johan or Sean at Hemifever tuning. I've had both of their tunes and was impressed by both over the canned tunes. Mainly they can fine tune ignition timing and fuel curves as well as drastically reduce torque management.

I just recently got the updated Hemifever tune for my car and the car is WAY faster off the line now, gets sideways easily, and pulls really hard up to 6000RPM. I datalogged and had very little knock retard, just a tad on the shifts, otherwise it was fine. Runs awesome, highly recommended!
