Hey all,

Great to be back. I just bought a 2015 SRT with NAV. I noticed that when I first got the car that it said SRT on the NAV screen when I started the car.. NOW all I have is the standard uconnect screen with the seat and steering wheel buttons... what happened??? Only thing I can think of is I noticed this after I registered my uconnect.

also.. does your car on performance pages show the correct color of your car?

Thanks again.. I will post pics and update profile soon.

I have a Scat Pack and when I first got my car I noticed that it said SRT as well. I have found that when you reset the Uconnect system through the engineering menu (Hold driver temp. up & down, and passenger temp. Up& down for 7 seconds), it resets the startup screen and the backgrounds for a few hours before returning to the "Uconnect" startup screen.

You can try resetting yours and seeing if the SRT screen comes back permanently. My guess is that the dealer reset the software right before handing it over to you to make sure everything was stock, and by the next time you started it up the SRT screen had disappeared. I could be wrong though.

Resetting the Uconnect system will wipe all of your bluetooth contacts and any radio presets you have. You will also be unable to pair bluetooth for 30 minutes after the reset.

In the performance pages the color of the on-screen car will not match your vehicle's real color; same goes for the 3D vehicle model on the navigation map.

And a hint for getting some pictures: Plug a USB thumb drive into the port in the center console and hold the driver's temp. up & down & rear defrost buttons for 7 seconds and it will take a screenshot of what is currently on your Uconnect display.
