Decided to take the car and see how it does at bracket racing.
I got to the track just before 4pm and the place was empty. This was a non points race and had a very low car count. They merged street and no-box for a total of 13 cars. I did get 4 time shots and 3 elimination rounds giving it up in the semi's with a -.001. Still getting the hang of the dodge. The 2015 Challenger A8 is all stock with the exception of MT drag radials.

The settings are tires 43lbs front 20lbs rear, sports mode on, TC off, shallow stage off the 2nd amber. Water, trans, and oil temps 200plus degrees. Launching off idle and manually shifting the car at 5k. First time shot I had my foot touching the gas. Runs 2-6 with heal down and toes off gas as much as possible. Last run I moved my foot closer to the gas to get a better light. Woops lol.

T1 -.012 RT 1.870 60' 8.213 ET 84.79 MPH

T2 .042 RT 1.869 60' 8.195 ET 85.22 MPH

T3 .003 RT 1.854 60' 8.230 ET 84.50 MPH

T4 .004 RT 1.849 60' 8.239 ET 85.86 MPH

ELIMINATIONS DIALED 8.29 for all runs
E1 OPPONENT DIALED 6.82 and went red -.013 I backed in on the top end for practice. .024 RT 1.886 60' 8.296 ET 82.13 MPH

E2 OPPONENT DIALED 8.80 cut a .149 light. Drove the stripe again and took a .012 MOV. My pass .023 RT 1.881 60' 8.392 RT 74.43 MPH. I figure my ET would of been a 8.24 if I stayed in.

E3 OPPONENT DIALED 6.82 same car as in T1 He was .018 RT and went 6.829 RT out the back. I was -.001 RT 1.876 60' practiced the top end dance and I took .040 of stipe (too much) and broke out with a 8.278 ET 83.90MPH . I should of given the gas one more umpah .

Overall I pleased with the night and will only get better. I need more seat time shifting the car. This 8 speed auto has crazy low first and second gears and the tack see 5k pretty quick. I have missed the mark a number of times.
