Well I bought a 2015 sublime green SRT that is fully loaded with every option while I wait for my sublime green Hell Cat to show up. My plan is to trade the SRT in on the Hell Cat. I got 3K off the MSRP on the SRT and the dealer has promised me 2K off the MSRP on the Hell Cat so hopefully I won't get burned at the cross on the trade.

I want to take some of the parts off the SRT and swap them with the Hell Cat. I have discovered the SRT has the exact same tires as the Hell Cat and the wheels are sort of a smoked chrome which look a lot better than the standard Hell Cat Wheels. I know the dealer won't have an issue with swapping the wheels, but I would also like to swap out the black fuel door assembly with the chrome one from my SRT. Not sure how much of a pain in the [email protected]@ that would be? Anyone know? Finally the Hell Cat rear spoiler is black and the SRT is sublime green. Wish I could swap that as well, but that looks like that wouldn't be doable.

How in the hell are you getting that much off a new SRT or even better, 2k off MSRP on a 'cat?
Did you have a trade for the SRT?

I checked the tire size on my tires on the SRT and the size stated for the Hell Cat and they were both the same size tire. The SRT has the huge Bembro calipers as well. As far as pricing, I was surprised that I got 3K off considering there was only one other SRT similar to the one I purchased between New Orleans and Houston. The other SRT didn't have the performance tires. As far as a slight discount on the Hell Cat, I have been dealing with these folks for quite a while and purchased some vehicles from them. Of course it probably didn't hurt that my daughter in law with to college with the sales manager.

From the article I read, the SRT8 wheels are 20"X 9" with 4 piston Brembo calipers and the HELLCAT wheels are 20" X 9.5" with 6 piston Brembo calipers (also information posted on Forum from SpeedLogix). Hope this helps.

You may want to double check the wheel size before trying to swap out. I believe the new Hellcat wheels are deeper than the SRT (larger calipers on the Hellcat).
Bad info. Calipers, rotors and wheels are identical.

See my above comment.
The previous generation SRT8 (as you noted above) and the 392 Scat pack cars have the old Brembo brake system and 20x9 wheels.
I know because that was the exact reason I chose the 15 SRT over the the scat pack. Other then the improvements to the cabin/interior and facias the Scat pack is no different then my 14 Core SRT8.

will be interesting to see how this all works out for you...my experience has always been you take a major hit on the price as soon as you drive that SRT off the lot. Keep us posted and let's see some pics of both those beauties!

I spoke with the sales manager again today and told him that I had bought a SRT, but I still wanted the Hell Cat if I didn't take a hit on the trade. He told me no problem. They have ordered some SRT's but haven't gotten any in and since my car only has 1,000 miles on it....I also told him I wanted the wheels on my SRT swapped out with the Hell Cat and the fuel door as well. All I got was a no problem. I asked about the rear spoiler too but he would have to check to see if is just bolted down or if there is also 3M tape helping hold it down.
