Have a 2013 Challenger SXT now but looking at this 2016 that has 1200 miles, SRT HEMI 6.4L V8, Tremec 6-Speed Manual, RWD, Torred Clearcoat.
Wondering what issues if any with this year and anything else I should be looking at like recalls, etc.....

    Thanks!

I have a 16 Scat. I have had no problems except for a bad battery. There will always be a chance of an anomie or a gremlin but for the most part these cars are very reliable. You will be happy stepping up.

Actually, I believe a good number of the folks here went from the SXT and RT to the Scat Pack... I am one... I have not heard of any regrets yet...

I went from a SXT to a Scat Pack challenger 6 months ago and couldn't be happier. It is a like a whole different car. 7000 miles of smiles.

Do it!! Have had 2 16 scats, a manual and now the A8, the manual is fun (be sure to do the clutch delay valve delete) but I live in Southern California and traffic is always a PITA, plus the A8 is so quick. Regardless the car is amazing, you won't regret it!

The first owner of my Scat M6 ignored the Skip Shift a few too many times... Dodge replaced my 1st & 2nd gears and syncros because they were spent. Since I have installed a skip shift eliminator and have been loving it ever since...

2016 SPS Redline Red Tricoat Pearl, I love saying that. Ordered the car and have about 25K miles on it and am very happy with it. Besides oil changes I've had some warranty work done; interior passenger front courtesy light bulb replaced (it was burnt out), interior rear ceiling i think its called a C pillar panel made noise (buzzed) mostly when the awesome stero was played loud (fixed by dealer with double back tape to tighten it up), twice i've had to reset the radio due to it hanging up one way or another, not a big deal but theres a procedure to reset it. Right at delivery i noticed the hood was a bit misaligned, the dealer made an adjustment and it satisfied me. Lastly but firstly at about 300 miles the goodyear front left tire threw chunk of rubber at highway speed, after some heavy complaining the dealer replaced the tire. I love how the too skinny tires let me slide the ass end around, way fun.

You will not go wrong with the car you found. I had a very nice 2009 RT Classic, and while I hated trading her in, my 2015 SP is amazing. There were some issues with the 2015 that were resolved for the 2016 (radiator hose issues, etc), so you are in better shape. I would definitely get the Skip Shift eliminator and a catch can as mods - you can go from there..
