I went with the MFER-1 as well. Good quality and pretty simple install if you have jack stands or some other way to get the rear end off the ground safely.

Is it true if you have the car in "Track mode", the active exhaust will stay open? My 2019 WB was ordered last week, so I don;t have the car yet.

I apologize for this dumb question, but if the above is true, if you shut the car off in Track mode, when you start it back up will it still be in Track mode with active exhaust open? Or does it automatically start in street mode, and you have to change it to Track each time you stop/start the car
I went to a event at a closed airport runwaylast Saturday
You could tell the difference in the sound of the cars that had selected sport or track
I select sport every time I drive
The sound is a little better but not obnoxious
Also the transmission gives you engine breaking when you let off and you get a little crackle out of the exhaust on deceleration
I guess it’s a personal preference thing
Enjoy your ride

Yeah, i couldn't resist. right after I picked it up from the dealer last weekend, I had the mid-mufflers swapped for the Dynomax mini race bullets...car sounds awesome, even in "Eco-mode"

I had a 2011 Vette Grand sport with the optional NPP exhaust. I bought the "mild to wild" exhaust switch. It was under a hundred bucks and was basically a fuse that "talked" to what looked like a garage door opener. You'd simply hit the button on the controller, that I kept on the sun visor and your exhausts immediately opened, and sounded awesome. Burbled on down shifts and like a race car as you rowed through the gears. Shame they dont have something that simple for these cars.

I read in another thread that you just pull #36 fuse which controls the active exhaust and they'll stay open.
Throws a code and engine light will come on, I believe.
Yes....fuse #36 controls the AES...it even says it in a table in the owners manual. however, I am not sure how much of a difference it makes to be honest. also, i am not convinced that on a cold start that the AES valves are open initially. HEre is a cold start video of my 2019 scatpack (
). I have the mid mufflers swapped for the Dynomax mini race bullets in this vid, but if you listen closely at the :17 second mark, you can hear what sounds like AES valves opening and making the exhaust a tiny bit louder.

GOD.... and I thought my 6.4 SP stock exhaust was loud!

Just came back from a 100 mile trip and when the car went into the 4 cylinder mode the car didn't sound it feel right.

I guess that was due to the active exhaust as my engine went into the 4 cyl mode.

The inside of the cabin vibrates and drones. I hate that.

I can only imagine what it would sound like if I had the Dyna Max bullets on, instead of the stock mufflers!!

It does really "bark" on the cold start, but after about 15-20 secs it starts to warm-up and it is shockingly quiet. In and out of my neighborhood, I barely use the throttle and it sounds stock...very quiet. Only difference with the Bullets is when you put down the throttle. I also kept the rear resonators on....no drone at all.

Oh, ok.
You are correct in keeping the resonators functioning as I have read that those who remove them experience moderate drone at about 1800 - 2000 rpm.

I don’t know about it being open at idle but I can tell you the exhaust sounds at idle are pretty sweet. My wife traded in her 2015 challenger RT and bought a 2019 Challenger RT scat pack.
