What speed have you tested it to?

Doesn't require hardly anything towards either end but the 1 piece shafts all Hula hoop some at high speed so the center is whatcha gotta watch. The factory lowered the passenger side center support perch after ‘17(?)

What is that line from?
I am not posting how fast I have taken my car at the forums, sorry, I don't mind posting a 0 ~ 60 run, but top speed runs, NO! But, if it had any vibration or wobble what so ever, I would have already warned others. Seeing as how going to this driveshaft is from after my OEM 2 piece driveshaft failure, so trying to warn others of a potential problem is my goal at these forums.

I covered earlier in this thread what that line was from, and it was from the stock aluminum heat protector bolt covers, they dropped down and touched the driveshaft.
To resolve it I removed the stock heat shield and replaced it with the Design Engineering adhesive backed heat shielding.

Warning: The adhesive backing is some serious stuff you have to be 100% positive it is aligned before it touches the surface, once it touches it stays. I have been through many car washes that spray water underneath and that water has had no effect in loosening the shield, it has stayed put.

TheDriveshaftShop balances on a 9500 rpm high speed balancer, you won't be getting any hoola hooping from it. That is also why they use a 4" Aluminum driveshaft, the larger the diameter pipe the less possibility of whipping. and they balance at speeds way past what other driveshafts are spun up to. So you don't have to be concerned about that.

Why not? They gotta see you break the law to give you a citation. I’m sure a infraction becomes a misdemeanor at some speed but they still gotta measure yer speed and testify that they did

You could post here that on your spare time you go out and kill people and no one is gonna come knocking on yer door with a felony murder warrant

That foil thing is cool. Dunno if $130 cool but it’s cool

Coming up on 1 year and 7 months running the one piece driveshaft and to date no problems with it what so ever, and no vibration from it at all. Problems that had to be resolved were not from the driveshaft, but without it having the added resistance of the carrier center support bearing and additional CV joint of the OEM. Spinning the rear wheels became absolutely effortless and very little acceleration sent them up in smoke.

I solved the rear traction issue by changing out the Pirelli P-Zero UTQG Treadwear # 220 to the Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S UTQG Treadwear # 000, and they flat out grab the road and are the best rear traction tires I have put on the car yet. Won't get but about 10,000 miles out of them, but so far they have proven to be worth every flipping penny!

You have a completely different mindset when you are at a red light or a stop sign and know you can leave as hard as you want without going up in smoke! :) Ry

Quick question for you RyzRT. I'm thinking about getting the DSS and have a few questions that hopefully you can solve. First, did you get the differential lockout bushing kit? Also, did you have to modify your exhaust? These are the only two things that have me on the fence right now. And the lead time, if there still is one.

Quick question for you RyzRT. I'm thinking about getting the DSS and have a few questions that hopefully you can solve. First, did you get the differential lockout bushing kit? Also, did you have to modify your exhaust? These are the only two things that have me on the fence right now. And the lead time, if there still is one.
If you mean the cradle lockout bushings I still have the stock bushings and have had no problem with wheel hop, and my exhaust is aftermarket the first was Magnaflow the one I am running now is SOLO Performance, and neither had clearance problems.

Edit: As far as lead time I think I waited 8 weeks to get mine, I don't know what their lead time is now. I would suggest going ahead and getting the TBA differential brace it basically locks the differential to the cradle, with just a very slight flex still left to it. You don't really need the super expensive differential braces unless you are running a Hellcat level of power. If you are a track drag racer you'll need a driveshaft safety loop as they require it.

One difference noticed from a two piece to one piece driveshaft setup is the two piece has a lot of driveshaft load up, and resistance. Meaning what takes place from the time you begin pressing the accelerator pedal, until the car actually begins to move. First off your two piece driveshaft is not straight in horizontal alignment, it is positioned like a dog leg pitched towards the drivers side. The center support bearing is held in a static position inside the support frame by the rubber gasket that is about 1/8th" thick. The rubber gasket in excellent condition can flex left or right under pressure maybe a quarter inch total, if more than that, you have a problem.

Pressure is applied to the gasket surface within the support frame, when the driveshaft is under load going forward, and pressure is in the opposite direction being applied in reverse. So for example when the transmission applies reverse pressure for the car to back up, the first CV joint has to tighten up (Action A), then the center bearing has to tighten up and be pushed in the direction reverse pushes it (Action B), then the center CV joint tightens up (Action C), and finally the differential CV joint tightens up (Action D), and finally the transmission power is transferred to the differential and the car begins to move.

Many think that drive line resistance to movement is caused by drive by wire, so they usually get a Pedal Commander or such as that, to attempt to resolve the issue that is still there. A one piece driveshaft completely eliminates Action B & C from the equation, and it eliminates the resistance that B & C create. With a one piece driveshaft you press the accelerator pedal and the car moves with almost zero resistance. The one piece driveshaft is some of the best no regret money I have spent on my Challenger! Ry

Update, I've been running my one piece driveshaft now for 2 years and 4 months, and over 30,000 miles, I inspect it at least every time I change engine oil, no problems with it at all. Ry

Yesterday my wife and I drove to Columbia, South Carolina to meet friends for supper, we passed a vehicle on the side of the road with something hanging down to the pavement. She asked if it was the exhaust and I told her no, it is their driveshaft, so she then wanted to know if that would happen to Black Beauty. No BB has a driveshaft safety loop, and I suggest anyone considering going to a one piece driveshaft, get one. Ry
