I wrapped my hood to avoid the smudges of finger prints and potential marks from handling. Everyone seems to see these surfaces and wants to touch them so I didn't want to bother with it considering how expensive they are to fix.

And they are recommend by Mopar for these finishes. The cost is minimal compared to the products effectiveness and easy of use. It’s like using a waxing product from your local auto parts store or using quality waxing products from Chemical Guys. You get what you pay for, and the finished look and protection in my opinion outweighs the cost. My 2020 still looks like it was just delivered.

As someone who was raised on the Oregon coast (many years ago, before the invasion) I catch your meaning. Now I live on the Gulf coast of Florida😁

The color is reminiscent of my Uncle Vince's brown 67 Biscayne - I got a great deal on mine (2021) but had to wrap it.
