Is there any gains on putting a 6.1 Intake Manifold on a 5.7.
About how much HP gains?
Does it bolt right up?

I read a few threads on a different forum about that same mod and those folks didn't see any significant performance gains. In fact, the 6.1L intake is aluminum whereas ours are plastic, so the 6.1L intake will most likely retain more heat. I'm guessing that's why on the 6.4L they switched to a plastic intake vs metal.

Maybe one or two, from dyno tests I've seen it's not worth the expense and time to put it on.

Yeah you're better off getting a tuner if you haven't done so already. Get an Intune or Trinity, get a custom email tune for it, and go light the tires up and have some fun.

Im getting a custom tune. Know a guy that tunes on his laptop from hp turners.

I Dont think there is much to gain with this mod.

The gain may not be HP unless it is ported, then you will get some benefit.

However, on looks alone, I would get rid of that ugly plastic thing.
