I believe the engineering department's motto is, No Stone Unturned. ;)

True!!! In addition I believe it proves that putting a supercharger on a 6.4 L without taking other precautions would not be wise. They took many measures to ensure the reliability of the Hellcat motor with extra cooling, and strengthening of the block, crank, connecting rods, pistons, piston pins, etc. In addition they changed the cam to utilize a supercharger (less intake and more exhaust), and they changed the stroke for less compression (hence the 6.2 L displacement) which made the crank stronger. And they added the oil separators to the valve covers, which is cool. So they basically started with a 6.4 L and changed it to utilize a supercharger, make more power and be reliable. A blue print for success! ;)

Yep....................it's a Hemi. No denying that. Great post! Thanks. Great internal view of the 6.2 with an Engineers guided tour of the internals and the differences between the "standard" 392 block and the 6.2.

Agreed, I found the article online, and even though it is an old article it is very informative. I have always liked HotRod magazine and thought I would share. It is good information for those who have a 6.4 L or 6.2 L motor.
