60 Degrees in January

I've had my new RT since New Years Eve, and haven't been able to detail it or drive it much due to all the rain and freezing temperatures. We were blessed with a 60 degree day here in Northwest Arkansas, so I opened up those boxes I ordered from Adam's Polishes.

First, I hosed off the car and coated it with a solid layer of foam. Next, I gave it a good hand wash (two bucket method of course). Then, I used a Maguiar's clay bar system.

After another hand wash and one coat of sealant, the results were pretty awesome. I did however find a few swirl marks left by the dealership detail guy that will require some polishing. Overall, it was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

Enjoy the eye candy.....

I'm jealous !! I can guarantee you the Chicagoland area will never see 60 degrees in January. However...it did hit 40 today and that's quite a heat wave, but still too much slush to bring mine out of the garage. :shakehead:....By the way, sharp lookin' car!!
Looks Awesome!!! Enlarged one of your pics for you.

Thank you bad8nti. This is an awesome forum!
It is an awesome forum, and you definitely have an awesome car!!! It looks amazing, you put in a lot of work and it shows! It is funny how it sometimes does't seem like work when you get to be outside in January and work on your car! I will head outside this afternoon to clean mine up a little, it is going to be almost 50 today!!! Of course the iPod and the Bose speaker will go with me!
That's one beautiful Sublime Mopar!!! Glad you are enjoying warmer temps......everything's covered in ice over here as I type this.

Yeah, there's ice everywhere, my daughter just said there was a 40 car pileup on the N.J. Turnpike.
Everyone just needs to stay home and watch the playoffs today! That ice stuff is so scary. I really can't imagine driving out in the East when there is all that traffic and then have ice to deal with.
That is one beautiful Sublime Green Challenger. Congratulations.
Great looking Challenger, love the Lime Green.
I wish we had 60 degrees here in sweden. This is the view from my office:

Snow Winter Freezing Sky Blizzard

Waiting for spring and a nice Challenger-season......
