$1600 sounds waaayyy to heavy for my wallet.
Most of the required maintenance is inspection.

Change plugs = $80 in parts and two hours if you are not motivated
Air cleaner = $25? - 5 minutes to replace if you take a break halfway through
Flush & change coolant - $60 in HOAT antifreeze? Change the plugs while it drains.

No way would I pay 1600 for that little bit of work. Hardest thing on the list is the spark plugs.
Got that right! There's only 12 beers in a box and 16 plugs. Now you have to move up to a 30 pk.
Plugs 15 and 16 can be tough.

$1600 to have the work show up on CarFax? Or spend $300 and do it yourself. Your car won't go devalue $1300 because CarFax doesn't show a dealership changing your plugs.
I must agree.
If you can / want to do this maintenance yourself go for it and save the coin.
The fear of having warranty work denied because there is no record of maintenance is BS to me.
Since I drive my vehicles till the wheels fall off I'm not concerned with devaluation....they're "rusted out junk" when I send them on their way.
The new vehicles I've purchased have run well over 200K miles with no warranty work required. I guess that's getting pretty lucky since i have my hands in there wrenching to do the maintenance.
