Ac vents

I just finished painting my radio bezel yesterday and I wanted to go a little further in the interior painting with painting my ac vents. Does anyone know how they come off? Or if they come off ?

They pop out but be very careful. Use a MF towel under a plastic dash tool. Be firm but not strong armed.
