another challenger in our stable
so a few months ago i posted that once my son get his drivers license i would buy him a blackberry pearl SXT challenger. in the meantime i been looking cause i knew its a rare color and would not be easy to find! well this morning he got word he passed drivers Ed so i get on cars.com and started to look again and i see a 2012 SXT blackberry pearl 1766 miles!!!
Price was 23k fully loaded.I called the stealership and its still available! so i tell my wife about she gives me the thumbs up! now my dilema was should i tell my son? i wanted to surprise him but then again i wasn't sure if i could of kept it from him! so i see him in his room doing something and he looks at me and says whats up? im looking at him and im smirking and said, you wanna glo look at a challenfger in the color you want? the kid jumped off his bed and gave me the biggest hug!
after an hour of driving we get to the stealership and meet the saleman i spoke to over the phone and took us to where the car was being cleaned! i have to say even though i didn't really care for it the car looked amazing under the lights and was just waxed!
After looking over it he was telling me about the car and all that so i pulled out my phone , showed him my challenger and said to him i know these cars extremely well. so we go and start negotiations . long story short i got the car for 18k! glad we had a crappy snowy day and i was the only person along with my boy at the stealership. car needs to have the altenator recall done and the rubber seal that goes on the front bumber to seal the hood replaced so im picking it up tuesday at 1 pm. i'll post pics of my boy and i with his challenger when i bring it home . but for now here are a few pics he took there

well i have my stock rear spoiler in the garage so thats going on his challenger next weekend. getting him the back up camera
and thats all for now. i don't think he will be modding the car much. he really thinks he's gonn a pay the car off and already asked his manager for extra hours at work but ty for the heads up and great advice buddy1 - 20 of 45 Posts
