I have mixed emotions about the sale of a used Hellcat. One side of me says it's a ploy for someone/some company to make a quick $10K to $15K because it's "available" now. A few hundred or a couple of thousand miles is not going to kill the perceived market "value", and an opportunity to have one now still pulls hard on "some". On the other side, I was one of the "some" that wanted one in the worst way and when ordering time was upon us, I did not have the ability to pull the trigger...things changed and I paid for it, in more than one sense of the word. I still, however, after looking at both sides, think someone is just trying to make a buck...yup, maybe it was too much car and Clint Eastwood had it right again...valid, valid points, to be sure.
I will say this about all that...every time I see another Challenger that is not a Hellcat, I get a little slow burn in the pit of my stomach that reminds me of what I have sitting in the garage. Every time I hear or see someone throwing HP and Torque stats around, my friend the slow burn comes back. I have never been more thrilled to own a piece of current/future history than I am owning (ok, payments) my Plain Jane Hellcat. I like all the Challengers...I just have a relationship with mine. Would I do it all over again...I would. I'm no Saint and I'm certainly not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but man I dig my ride, even though the practical side is turning over in its grave.
