Anyone have any issues with lil devil or other fender flares damaging paint?

Just curious, I'm planning on getting some soon.
I had a set of bushwhacker fender flares on a truck years ago and they rubbed the paint off where they touched the body.

I would definitely get some PPF under there. I’ve been thinking about these but am nervous to have them stuck to my car for that very reason. PPF would be the correct way. I would think the dirt that gets behind would definitely damage paint.

I have them on my 2022. No issues here but you’re not going to see any kind of damage unless you’re taking your flares off. Anything you have against your paint is going to cause some wear but the PPF will help.

Just FYI as well so if you do decide to get the lil devils. They don’t tell you the tools needed for install. You’ll need the following attachment plus I installed more supports than what it comes with.

AIUITIO 8" Rivet Nut Tool, Rivnut Tool Kit with 9 Metric and SAE Mandrels, Nutsert Rivet Tool Set with 90Pcs Rivnuts, Sturdy Case Packed, Designed for Tight Space https://a.co/d/3iNPlLQ
