I fall somewhere in the middle of "OMG there's a dust speck on my car!!!" and "I wash her once a week"- meaning I like for my car to look as nice as possible, but I don't fret small imperfections. I used to fret them, but I just let most of that go anymore. Parking lot dings bother me to no end, though- I just took the Challenger to a local paintless dent repair guy for one I got on the passenger's rear quarter panel, and he did a masterful job of removing it. Just this weekend I noticed one on the driver's side, so back to the dent guy she goes.

I actually stopped by the local Dodge dealer and spent some time looking at some other cars on the lot.
Lots of paint imperfections and one vehicle was actually missing paint.

Mine actually had orange peel on the trunk lid. Took me some time with a da polisher to get happy with my paint.

In the past I've even seen NEW Rolls & Mercedes going back for paintwork imperfections.. My nephew has a new 911 that continually cuts out at T/Lights, Porsche have rebuilt the electrical system twice & it's still cutting out..
