They are not DOT approved but besides that, what happens with the high beam?

I have no idea. I'm new to this side of accessories. The guys installing my halos recommended this kit. They deal mostly in higher end cars ect.... Seem picky as well with what they sale. But I never but in to it before I check around. So that why I was hoping maybe someone here has used this kit?

You would need to get the bi-xenon version so that have hi/lo beams. it is just moves the bulb forward in the holder to hit a different reflector.

There are other cheaper options out there. And non of them will be DOT approved because the light spread of HID bulb in a halogen housing is not focused and too wide spread.

I have HIDs in my halogen headlights, but I don't do much night time driving and I do plan on getting project headlights in the next month or two.
