Went into 2 dealers today and found out one thing..they have no clue about anything. The first dealer told me the brochure were not out yet and I got one at the second dealer but he told the b5 won't be out until August some time.?

Anyone know when the b5 blue will be out on the 2015 also i have had a 2012 5.7 auto trans and am looking at the scat pack eng with the 8 speed auto any idea about how much difference in power or is it not worth the dollars.

Thanks srv

Welcome to the Z!
Here in Ohio there are certain dealerships that have won a lottery on acquiring the Hellcat for their showroom. I have not done so, but if you Google dealers that have or are going to get the Hellcat then they may be privy about when colors are going to be released.
If what the dealer said is true about the release of B5 Blue in August then that puts it on the 2016 model year line-up.
AllPar might know as well as Redline Dodge. Just saying'. Enjoy the Journey! Lou.

Looking at the scat pack with the 392 shaker hood with the auto trans. I would like to know if the engine pkg vs. The 5.7 power wise ? I really liked the R/T I had. Love more rpm and tq.

Hard to understand the b5 blue is going to be much of a wait since they have had it in the past!

Sounds like not much has changed since when they first came out. Dealers never had any idea about anything years ago when I first got my Challenger. I knew more about the option packages than the salesman did haha!

Wish I could help you with the B5 Blue stuff but I have no idea.

As for the Scat Pack 6.4L vs 5.7L, there is a big power difference. 5.7L has 375hp the 6.4L has 485hp. Stock 5.7L's usually run mid 13's in the 1/4 mile, stock 6.4L's are running mid 12's. So it's a 110hp and 1 second difference in the 1/4 mile, that's a big time difference.

It depends on what you want. I've seen loaded R/T Plus and R/T Classic's with the 5.7L sticker for over $40K. You can get a nice R/T for the low $30K range though if it's not fully loaded.

The Scat Pack R/T's base price is $39,800 I believe. I've seen a few at dealerships near me with sticker prices of $41K reduced to $38K with dealer discounts, etc. If it were me looking to buy a Challenger today and I didn't already have one, I would stretch and try to get my hands on a Scat Pack. You really can't get much more of a practical, cool looking, powerful car for under $40K anywhere else, pretty hard to beat.

I'd go for the Scat Pack if it were me, the extra cost is definitely justified and worth it IMO.

Thanks Carl. price is not really a issue for me but I do want certain color and certain wheels looks more like the R/t to get the classic rims without a stripe pkg . The dealers are always just pushing what they want to sell you and I hate car salesman right up there with the dentist...
