I have read the history of the blue b5, was just wondering does it have a real name? I know there have been different shades of it and see that people have a heck of a time matching it depending on what year or model you have , why would chrysler have a paint with so many variations? makes no sense to me:4-dontknow:

The paint formulation changes from time to time. The 2010 version is called "Surf Blue Pearlcoat".

For the 2009-10 model years it was listed as B5 Blue Pearlcoat (PQD) on the POC sheets. On VinWin (now defunct) and my build sheet, it was listed as Surf Blue Pearlcoat. The body shop I've worked with here had no problem matching the color.

I was in the dealership getting oil changed on wife's Dart, and saw this in the showcase, was going to find out how much , but got distracted. Two die cast challengers one from 70's and a 2008 .would be cool for you B-5 owners.... put out by Wix filters...
I got my set about a year ago from a Parts Store owner who bought a couple cases. There is also a Wix poster that went with it. I paid $60 for the die casts in an unopened, shrink wrapped box. He didn't have any of the posters.

I remember seeing a B3 Blue on the color chart for the Mopar high impact colors of the late 60' early 70's. Kinda wish this years B5 was a little different from the 2009 and 2010 versions but it looks really similar to me.
