Best Widebody Rock Guards/Mud Flaps?

2796 Views 12 Replies 10 Participants Last post by  RB185AFM
I've got a SPS Widebody on order right now and after much forum reading realize I better get rock guards installed on it before I drive it off the lot. I went to my dealer's parts dept to order the Mopar rock guards, but apparently they don't exist for Widebodies.

So, What's your opinion:
Rokblokz Splash Guards ($99)
ZL1 Addons Deluxe Rock Guards ($96.99)
Vicrez Mud Flaps ($94.99)

ZL1 seems to be the most popular, but I'm pretty skeptical about how they just clip on with no drilling. Seems prone to pop off or have issues, to me?
Vicrez doesn't technically say it supports 2022's, I'm assuming there's no changes to the body between the 21 and the 22.
Same issue with Rokblokz.
I like the way the Rokblokz installs and how they use quality mounting hardware and a spacer in the back to make it sit nice. They also visually look to be a bit heavier duty than the others, hard to tell though. I'm leaning towards them.

What do you all think?

swaim, is what i run on mine...pretty happy with them so far.check them out a little better coverage than the zl1’s in my opinion and actually held on with the factory pins and a couple screws thru the black plastic fender well.

I got the ZL1 deluxe. Easy install with clips and 1 screw in the bottom. No drill just make a punch to start. Very sturdy. Barely noticeable on the black WB. I make a beach run almost every day and there's sand, shells and pebbles to deal with. They are doing a good job.

ZL1 uses factory holes and clips to hold in place.
Yes, Mopar doesn't make rock guards for WB's. I have ZL1's. love em' and man, they work!

ZL1s here. They work great and are still solidly in place after 2k.
I bought the non deluxe zl1s. Look the same to me, slightly thinner and cheaper.
if you want the best protection these are for ypou, search around hellcat . org and you can find a guy to give you 10 percent off if i remember correctly.

Noticed today the Zl1s don't completely protect the rear flairs. Good idea to put some ppf on them.

Yeah, I think I'm going with swaim, they seem to be the most well-secured to the vehicle
