Does anyone know where I can order a Borla ATAK exhaust system (part # 140678) for a 2017 SRT8 that actually has them in stock? I've placed an order twice now from different vendors who's sites said they had them in stock, then was notified after the purchase they they are actually NOT in stock and they have no ETA of when they would be available. I really want this exhaust for my new car, but can't seem to be able to find it available anywhere. :-(

Key words, NEW CAR so, I'm not sure if they have them available for the 17s yet, but on another note you sure you don't want to keep this stock exhaust? they get better with age.

No, the stock exhaust is too quiet. I LOVE the sound of the Borla ATAK. They are the loudest most aggressive exhaust I've heard. I'd love to know if there are any that are comparable, but from what I've seen and heard, the ATAKs are the loudest/best.

I just looked at their site. It appears they don't make anything for the 392 past 2014. They must figure they cant beat the new active exhaust.

If you want louder just remove your mid muffler and have a small piece of 3 in welded in and it's pretty loud :) maybe that will hold you over till you can find ur borla system. It only cost me 60 buck to have done

Well, my fingers are crossed. I believe I may have found a system on ebay no less. They said they had 8 available so I contacted the seller. Of course, like the others they said that they actually didn't have any in stock, but the manufacturer would drop ship it to me within 9 days. So we shall see...

Hi, I think I know what the deal is. About two months ago, I ordered the Borla S-type exhaust for my 2015 Scat-pack. I was told that there was a delay because of some trouble they had with the MDS valves, which they had been getting from Dodge.

So they decided to design their own.
I believe they have got the redesign done now, but now they are way behind due to the backlog of orders.

I was informed of the issue by the vendor i ordered from, so I emailed Borla and they confirmed.

Yes, mine was the S-type and not the ATAK, but they both use the same MDS valves.

My cat-back was ordered back in Apr. I love the Borla sound and quality, so I'll wait.

I had an '08 Mustang, and I must have tried 6 or 7 different cat-backs on that car. Ended up liking the Borla the best and putting that back on it. Had a '98 TransAm, and liked the Borla best on that car too. Good stuff.

So after what seems like forever, I finally received the Borla Exhaust on Friday and installed it over the weekend. The install was pretty easy. The hardest part was trying to pry the stock exhaust off the rubber hangers. The rest of it was cake. It definitely sounds WAAAAY better now!

The only issue I'm having is that my check engine light keeps turning on. The only part of the install that I could see causing a CEL is the actuator valve servo motors that I transferred to the Borla from the stock exhaust. I am quite positive that I got the springs on both seated properly and both are plugged in. There's really nothing else I can think of that would cause a CEL. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, what was the fix?
