So I really want to put an R/T Shaker on the floor to showcase.

I want to try and build it to a spec which most people would go for.

It would be fun to build it with input from everyone on here, so that I have a good idea on what people may want from their Shaker.

I also don't want it to be such a high spec it's price becomes like an SRT.

The base car can be an R/T or R/T Plus auto.

I really value the input from people on here, so feel free to suggest what you would like to see, including color, packages, options etc.

We can then track it from build to arrival!! :)

I look forward to your ideas!!

Ohhhhh.....whatever you do...don't go by what I think Andy!! I would start with a base RT and add a sound group 2 and call it a day but I have seen from being here on the Z that I am WAY in the minority. Seems everybody wants fully loaded with even an engine block heater when they live in southern California. Most all the dealers must know this becouse NO ONE could find my Scat Pack with the very few options I was willing to pay for. The one they had at the lot would have been over 50K out the door so here I am waiting for the car the way I wanted it.:4-dontknow: I told the manager at the dealership that now that there isn't a core SRT what is someone who isn't in the price range of a full blown SRT supposed to buy when they load them up like that!! But truth be told...I think that is what most people are wanting.

I was thinking the same here, We have fully loaded R/T Plus vehicles with MSRP's of like $44,500. I was thinking of something a little more toned down.

I'm not a sunroof fan, I'm not sure if most feel the same. I also think that the Super Track Pak is good value for money (comes with the shaker btw).

I'm looking forward to people opinions, it would be fun building a car with the forum members.

I agree the Super Track Pac is a good deal for the money....and I think that option helps sell the car...but I sure am hearing alot of people complain about the harsh ride lately.:4-dontknow:

Well that was a bit short lived.

I have just built an R/T Shaker and at the moment it forces you to have the Sound Group option. I added NAV and the only other real option is the driver convenience group. The MSRP on this is already $39,380.

The R/T Plus with Sound Group 2 and NAV is $42,180.

So I guess the real question is what color? and R/T or R/T Plus (R/T Plus Shaker with every option is $47,155)

I don't mind it as much.

My Challenger has the Mopar Stage 1 springs, combined with Mickey Thompson Street Comps and 20's, the ride is harder.

I changed back to my 18's and all season tires for the winter and the ride was a lot more comfortable.

There is the problem right there the thing I wanted the most was the shaker hood and the look / history behind the scat pac really appealed to . But my fully loaded SRT minus sunroof was 47.800 so that why I ended up where I am . The ONLY mod I am considering is the shaker hood but not for some time .As for your build I'd strip it right back as cheap as possible with the shaker . The darker red , stripe delete

My 14 has all the options but the HID's which I could not find. My only thought here is resale value but what the heck do I know...Just happy PC is not a color for the 15's...at least those of us with 14's got something

That sucks about not having the HID'S; I'm happy I have them. I have everything except Harman Kardon and Nav. PCP though

How can they both be $4000 when the plus includes leather seats?

They sell the hood and scoop in a box for $2500.
The Plus comes with leather seats as standard. Perhaps the Shaker leather interior looks different.

Dodge haven't provided any real info on it yet.

Sure seems like your list of included items far exceeds the $4000 price, I can't help to think there's an error in to what you say is included and what may be extra or part of other packages.

The list was taken directly from the order page. It doesn't just include the Shaker options, it also highlights additional options from the trim level which precedes it.

The package list isn't identical though. for instance, you get the rearview camera on the R/T Shaker, but you get the premium shaker floor mats on the R/T Plus.
