Yes Santa was great
However, sadly Christmas was not without bad news for us and we are currently in the processes of dealing with it.
My 93 year old father -in-law has Leukemia and it has taken a turn for the worst. Most of Christmas ( week)was spent at the hospital, his body is rejecting the transfusions and we have been told it could be any day. Tomorrow he is going to a hospice , and well it's just a difficult time for us. I wasn't going to say anything, but it helps to type this out, and visit when I can here on the site.

Very cool about all the car waxing/polishing stuff man! I'm the same way, washing and waxing the car is relaxing to me. It's a lot of work, but it's relaxing to me, hanging out in the garage, listening to music, zoning out, etc. Good times!

Sorry to hear about your father in law. I hope things get better, but if not I hope he does not have to suffer too much. My grandpa is in the nursing home right now, this was probably his last Christmas based on his current health. My other two grandma's both have bad dementia and require constant supervision by family which is tough on everyone. Old age really sucks, it's not fair that you live your whole life and then have to suffer at the very end. I hope you and your family can all be together and be there for each other through your tough time.

Rob and Carl I will be able to do the music thing now too! Never had anything in the garage that I could listen to. My son gave me that great Bose Bluetooth speaker for Christmas. Yesterday I did the connect with my ipod, while thinking all the time (gee how long will this take, it probably won't work, I can't ever do this stuff). It took less than 30 seconds to hook it up! And wow does that thing put out the sound. The speaker can be charged to last up to eight hours. I can just put it out on the driveway and boy will that inspire my detailing chores!! Good thing I have a son who knows me and also keeps me updated on this stuff! Heck, I didn't even know you could buy one of those!

Now the weather is going to be below freezing for a week, so I will have to wait to wash the car and try it out! Crazy isn't it? I want to wash the car so I can try my new Bose speaker!

So sorry to hear that news. I recently did the hospital and hospice thing and it was an extremely draining experience. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time, especially around the holiday season, it just adds to it. God Bless your father-in-law.
