However, sadly Christmas was not without bad news for us and we are currently in the processes of dealing with it.
My 93 year old father -in-law has Leukemia and it has taken a turn for the worst. Most of Christmas ( week)was spent at the hospital, his body is rejecting the transfusions and we have been told it could be any day. Tomorrow he is going to a hospice , and well it's just a difficult time for us. I wasn't going to say anything, but it helps to type this out, and visit when I can here on the site.
Thanks DanSo sorry to hear this, Rob! My thoughts and Prayers are with you.
Thanks...thats what I do to...music is turned up, garage is rigged up with a stereo and away I ago....couple of cold ones along the way, not a bad way to spend an afternoon sometimes.Very cool about all the car waxing/polishing stuff man! I'm the same way, washing and waxing the car is relaxing to me. It's a lot of work, but it's relaxing to me, hanging out in the garage, listening to music, zoning out, etc. Good times!
Sorry to hear about your father in law. I hope things get better, but if not I hope he does not have to suffer too much. My grandpa is in the nursing home right now, this was probably his last Christmas based on his current health. My other two grandma's both have bad dementia and require constant supervision by family which is tough on everyone. Old age really sucks, it's not fair that you live your whole life and then have to suffer at the very end. I hope you and your family can all be together and be there for each other through your tough time.
Cool, looks like you made out great Rob.
Thank you Art....we appreciate thatVery sorry to hear about your father-in-law Rob. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Thank Tiki....very much appreciated. So sorry to hear that news. I recently did the hospital and hospice thing and it was an extremely draining experience. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time, especially around the holiday season, it just adds to it. God Bless your father-in-law.
