So do you all think there is really much difference between getting a full cat back exhaust or just replacing the mufflers?
Say I'm looking at the Magnaflows. Our system is Stainless with a built in X-pipe. That used to be a big reason to upgrade.
But if we already have that, why not just get the mufflers replaced?

There may be slightly larger tubing with the cat-back, but we are restricted (with the 3.6 Pentastar) up to the cat anyways.
What benefits would there be with the cat-back (performance? Sound?) and does it really offset the cost?

I had the Magnaflows (11256) on existing pipes and round dual tips... Got a wild hair and did Solo Performance catback... I really like the Solo but I think back and kinda miss the Magnaflows... Sounds are very similar... But in the end both sound great on our V6's... And buy the way no drone out of either setup... Oh yea Solo was about 800... Best price and sound as far as catback systems... The other option you only pay for mufflers and tips... And in my opinion both sound great... :)
