Chemical Guys Wac Hardcore Paste Wax left "yellowing" stains on the fiberglass sections of my brand new Dodge Challenger, white in color. The yellow stains are embedded (like egg yoke) AND "cannot be removed". I contacted Chemical Guys and spoke with Michael who said to use alcohol and water. I said that will not work. I stated that I would begin litigation. Michael said that Chemical Guys has no warranty. Apparently, Chemical Guys carries a disclaimer. However, I can proceed to the Attorney General of our State and move to the Better Business Bureau. I obtained the address information from Michael as he provided the name of Joanna Mendez.
This is a 'Warning' to all people owing white vehicles, "DO NOT USE THIS WAX" or any other Chemical Guys products. This Hardcore wax is oily and consists of a mishmash of unknown properties, unlike Meguiar's "A trusted name". I have over 40 years in the automotive field, including detailing cars. My vehicle was the lead vehicle in the motorcade; at the 100th Anniversary Oldsmobile Celebration, in Lansing, Michigan in 1997. My videos are on Youtube. All information has been documented for future reference, including pictures which I sent to Chemical Guys. When Michael viewed the pictures, he could determine the "yellowing" in the crevices. It is very difficult to capture this type of evidence on a white vehicle, but we did it. Michael further added that, "Chemical Guys states to be very careful with the wax. In fact, there are no stipulations or addendums referring to such on their website. Again, "DO NOT USE THIS WAX".
