Sterling Heights Assembly Plant adds 800 employees to support Chrysler 200

Chrysler Group LLC Chairman and CEO Sergio Marchionne announced today that
800 jobs have been added to the rolls at the Sterling Heights (Mich.)
Assembly Plant to support production of the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200.
Marchionne confirmed the hiring during a plant event celebrating production
of the new mid-size vehicle.

Mopar unveils new Dodge Dart pro stock racer

The much-anticipated debut of Mopar’s newest pro stock class vehicle, the
Dodge Dart, will take place this weekend at the National Hot Rod
Association (NHRA) Gatornationals, following its reveal by world-champion
drivers Allen Johnson and Jeg Coughlin Jr. near Gainesville, Fla., on
Thursday. The Dodge Dart joins the Dodge Charger R/T in the funny car class
and the Dodge Challenger in sportsman competition.

Retiring from competition, the four-door Dodge Avenger ends its run as the
most successful of Mopar racecars in its class after claiming a total of 27
NHRA national titles and a record 28 No.1-qualifier positions, in addition
to consecutive championships in 2012 and 2013.

Dodge introduces an all-wheel-drive Journey SE V-6

America’s most versatile mid-size crossover—the 2014 Dodge Journey with
available seven-passenger seating—is upping its capability and value
quotient by offering the Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 engine and all-wheel drive
on SE models for 2014.

The Journey’s all-wheel drive system is perfect for drivers who want extra
grip for a more performance-like feel, or who live in the Snow Belt or
rainy parts of the country and appreciate the extra traction the system
provides. The 2014 Journey SE V-6 AWD is available now in U.S. dealerships.
