June U.S. sales rise 9%; best June sales since 2007

Chrysler Group LLC today reported U.S. sales of 171,086 units, a 9 percent
increase compared with sales in June 2013 (156,686 units), and the group’s
best June sales since 2007. The Jeep®, Dodge, Ram Truck and Fiat brands
each posted year-over-year sales gains in June compared with the same month
a year ago. The Jeep brand’s 28 percent increase was the largest sales gain
of any Chrysler Group brand during June and its best ever sales in the
month of June. The Chrysler Group extended its streak of year-over-year
sales gains to 51-consecutive months in June.

Dodge brand celebrates its 100th anniversary

The Dodge brand is tearing into its centennial year as America’s mainstream
performance brand, celebrating its 100th anniversary today. With the
purification of the brand and consolidation with SRT, the Dodge brand is
getting back to its performance roots with every single model it offers.
The consolidated Dodge and SRT brands will offer a complete lineup of
performance vehicles that stand out within their own segments.

Consumers rank 5 models at top in Total Quality Awards

Five Chrysler Group LLC products landed atop their segments in Strategic
Vision’s annual Total Quality Index that measures new vehicle owners’
overall experience and emotional connection with their vehicles. The Dodge
Dart shared the lead for Total Quality in the Small Car segment, while the
Dodge Charger and Dodge Durango ranked highest in the Full-Size Car and
Mid-Size SUV segments respectively. The Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited earned the
top spot in the Entry SUV segment and Ram 2500/3500 shared the highest
score in the Heavy-Duty Truck category.

Awards ceremony honors employees’ children

In an awards ceremony recognizing the children of Chrysler Group and Fiat
Group employees in North America, Chairman and CEO Sergio Marchionne
advised the students to always “aim high and dream big.” The ceremony, held
June 24 in the auditorium of the Auburn Hills Complex, recognized the 74
winners of Fiat Chrysler Awards for academic excellence and achievement.
More than 200 people attended the event, including family members, union
officials, company representatives and award judges.

Children of Chrysler Group employees—as well as those from Comau,
Ferrari/Maserati USA, Fiat Finance NA, Magneti Marelli and Teksid in North
America—who met eligibility requirements qualified for the scholarships
ranging from $6,000 to $9,000. The applicants were evaluated by internal
and external judges who assessed key criteria related to academic
performance, essay submission, extracurricular activities, as well as
financial and personal challenges.

Thanks for the info, I said a few years back (before I bought my challenger) that Dodge will make leaps and bounds over the other american car manufactuers. They just keep pumping out better cars than the competition. I feel very fortunate to own a Dodge

Dodge has a very good product line-up now. The only Dodge car line in great need of replacement is the mid-size Avenger. The Chrysler 200 replacement looks to be a winner. Dodge will need its own version.
