So I just took delivery of a 2018 TA Plus with the 5.7L hemi. I have never owned a Hemi, or a Dodge. It appears to be lightly used with 30k miles. I love the car, except for the MDS.
I drove it to work for the first time last night. It is 26 degrees outside. I cranked it and let it warm for 5 mins. When I got outside the car was still “smoking” from being cold. Got in it and drove to the end of the street. Still “smoking” quite a bit. Drove about 10 mins down the interstate and got off at an exit. Still “smoking” but not as bad. Drove the rest of the way home (about 45 mins total). Pull into the drive way and it is still “smoking” but just barely. Please tell me this is just a Hemi thing and that the car doesn’t have a possible blown head gasket.
