Car Covers are definately one of those items "you get what you pay for"! That being said, check with our friends at AutoAnything. They are a vendor here on the site. They regularly have sales(right now it's 20% off > $150). They also price match. I would recommend a CoverCraft Noah or Evolution.

I have the Cover Craft Noah from Auto Anything and it's pretty good. My Challenger is only driven on weekends when the weather is nice so most of the time it sits covered up in my driveway (my garage was coverted into my man cave).

As Dan said, you get what you pay for. When not garaged mine stays under a coverking. They make several different types depending on what you want most from your cover. They are exacting fit and won't damage the paint if used properly. Yes they are more pricey but the covers will last you. Look at the reviews online and I think you will be satisfied.

Your factory paint job costs between $4000-$7000, so it makes sense to not cut corners when it comes to putting a car cover over it. Go high grade and when you choose a manufacturer, ask if their car covers have a microfiber lining option. More cover makers have been adopting this lining.

Yeah, looking for a SOFT underside to protect the paint.

Need a cover that protects well from the sun as I park outside at work and she sits all day!

I can see I'll have to up my budget for a GOOD SOFT lined cover.
I checked some auto parts stores and even their top of the line covers from $100-150 or so were not soft enough underneath.

Weathershield HD is probably one of the best UV covers out there....great on paint protection, I use it along with a Noah if my baby is outside. Not cheap though.

How long have you had your CoverKing? I live in Texas it's on it every day... it lasted less than a year. They did the warranty replacement, but I think it's a design issue and the same will happen again. I bought the upper end cover, but it lost ALL water resistance (and I know it's not waterproof, just resistant)....and the white material inside started breaking down and would be all over the car. I am thinking it's the heat here.

It's the UV rays. I have multiple covers (2 Stormweave & 1 Ultraweave next to car) on mine since it's outside. The original Stormweave cover on the outside is really starting to get soft & brittle so much so it has tears & such but it's protecting the next one in line. I've had it about 5 years now so it's done pretty good. I only bought 1 new, picked up the other two here from members at a great deal.

Mine lasted about two years. When it started to break down I purchased another one. The form and fit to me are great. The covers are designed to breath so that the moisture are not trapped against the vehicle. In Maryland we get a lot of temperature difference from summer to winter, so I didn't expect any cover to last more then that.

I think 2 is acceptable, 3 would be great... 10 months was a bit too little.
